Download and Install

Navigate to the download page

Indicate you intend to use Make for educational use, and fill in the relevant information.

Select SketchUp Make (the free version) on the right.

Select your version, language, and OS, then proceed to download.

Relevant Export Formats

DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) - 2D vector export for use in the laser cutter & waterjet cutter. ONLY AVAILABLE WITH PRO VERSION

To export parts as DXF, see CAD to DXF

STL (Standard Tesselation Language) - 3D description of surface geometry for 3D printing. AVAILABLE VIA EXTENSION. YMMV.
